You can't really tell in the photo, but it really is asymmetrical. In the best way, of course. The collar is higher on one side than the other, and one front panel is wider than the other. Despite the relative lack of shaping it fits well, and the yarn has a nice drape when knitted with these twisted stitches at this gauge. This may be the first sweater I've made that I could really see myself wearing all about. Many of the things I make have just an art appeal, you know?
I love these buttons. They came from CreamRose, and I can't recommend her enough. Just fabulous stuff.

I've already cast on for the Flutter Sleeve Cardigan. So far so good:
The yarn (Classic Elite Classic Silk) has quite a bit of debris in it, although it has a nice texture, color, and sheen. The only thing that gives me pause is that the yarn is largely silk, which means the debris is most likely bug bits. That doesn't gross me out, it just makes me feel like a lout for all those murdered silk worms.
Sorry about how wonky the photos are. I'm having technical difficulties!

your asymetrical looks great !
(a letter should arrive soon in your mail box...at last !)
Will you posting more pics of the Asymmetrical when your resident photographer returns? It looks like it has so many interesting details that I'd love to see.
I can't wait to see how your Flutter Sleeve Cardigan turns out. It's a beautiful design.
Eeep! When you said the silk had bits of debris in it, it didn't occur to me that they were "bug bits" until I read the next line. You must have a stronger stomach than I. I would be a little grossed out.
The cardigan is great. I love those buttons- and those grey shoes on the floor behind you!
I LOVE YOUR CARDI! Love love love love!
